Swamy VimalanandaInspired by the life and teachings of the great Master, H.H.Sri Swami Sivananda Maharaj, Swami Vimalananda (formerly known as K.Vanamamalai, hailing from a poor family of five brothers, two sisters and a widowed mother, took keen interest in propagating the teachings of his Guru along with his official and household work by translating into Tamil and publishing a number of Swamiji’s books and flooding Tamilnadu with Gurudev’s literature. Since he decided to sacrifice his life for Gurudev’s Divine Life mission, by God’s grace, all his brothers also followed his way of life in serving the great Master.


All the family members had the rare opportunity of visiting Sivanandashram in Rishikesh many times and receiving the blessings directly from Sri Swami Sivananda, an embodiment of love and compassion, which transformed their whole lives.


SwaroopanandaSwami Swaroopananda, who was the Professor and Head of the Post Graduate department of Chemistry of Madurai American College in his pre monastic days .known as Prof T.K.Narayanan is the head of Sivananda Vidyalaya, Sivananda Sevashram and Sivananda Satsang Bhavan Organizations. He is also the Editor of IMAYA GEETAM Anglo – Tamil monthly, which is propagating the Divine life teachings of the great scriptures and saints of this holy land for the past many years, throughout India and he his giving Gita discourses in English, Tamil and Hindi.


SundaranandaSwami Sundarananda is the head of Sivananda Tapovanam in Madurai and Sivananda Foundation in Chennai. who is organizing free monthly medical camps, quarterly spiritual retreats and annual Sivananda Jayanti function in a grand manner for the past many decades. The other two brothers, T.K.Seshan, is a retired Railway official and the secretary of the Madurai ( Tirunagar ) Divine Life Society branch and organizer of weekly Sivananda study circle. And T.K.Raman, a retired Engineer of the National Highways Department, is the secretary of the Tirunelveli Divine Life Society branch and director of Sivananda Sevashram.
